And that's it, i have just finished the first draft of The Birth of a Starship. Once I have finished Oblivion i'll be able to edit it to ensure all the timelines and chronology match up (they should do anyway) and tweak it and then... bang! both books should be relased in a smilar time frame in 2014.
This books is designed to be significantly shorter than anything else i have done, with a lot less running around and shooting... sounds exhausting that sort of stuff, BoaS is more about a regualr guy doing his job, which just so happens to be designing and building starships.
One thing i am quite exicted about is that both books will end at the same point, on the same line, ready for The Seraphic Chronicles series to begin.
So... what to do with the rest of my day?
Oblivion needs writing... there's the Oferan story to write, a short story on the discovery fo overdrive, another on the first contact between humans and B'ra'Sha on Orsimo.... perhaps a little somethng on the Gryar War.... yeah, might have enough to keep me going!
